PARIS DESIGN WEEK 2021

PARCOURS DES DECORATEURS, AD MAGAZINE

Created for Paris Design Week 2021 as part of the Parcours des Décorateurs curated by AD Magazine, Sophie Dries presented a site-specific exhibition in an exclusive Left Bank space in Paris. The project deployed a holistic vision of interior architecture, bringing together collectible furniture, raw materials, and exceptional craftsmanship within an immersive scenography tailored to the venue.

The multisensory installation combined visual and olfactory elements, featuring a curated selection of Dries' ceramics, minimalist lighting, and Murano glass pieces. Designed as a direct dialogue between decorative arts and spatial experience, the exhibition focused on the blending of rich textures, dynamic material contrasts, and organic, sculptural forms. The presentation transformed the physical space into a dedicated showcase, blurring the lines between high decoration, collectible design, and contemporary interior architecture.
