Presented in Beirut in 2017 within a pop-up exhibition curated by collectible design gallery Gabriel & Guillaume at the Herzog & de Meuron-designed Beirut Terraces, Sophie Dries featured pieces from her early material research collections.

The showcase highlighted a dialogue between raw, organic textures and modern architectural lines, featuring her Traces ceramic vessels alongside collectible furniture. Set against the concrete, open volumes of the building, the objects emphasized a striking play of light, tactile contrast, and spatial balance.
