Presented by biotech company MycoWorks in collaboration with design agency Paragone, the Mycelium Muse exhibition features Sophie Dries alongside six fellow women creators. Together, they explore the creative possibilities of Reishi™, a bio-fabricated material grown from fine mycelium. Central to Dries' contribution is a monumental brutalist mirror that brings living, organic matter into conversation with contemporary interior design.

Her piece balances the soft, mottled texture of naturally streaked Reishi™ sheets with a sleek frame of industrial Corten steel tubes—a self-patinated metal drawn from Land Art. Blending biotechnology with European craft traditions, the installation captures Dries’ signature interplay between the radical and the primitive, offering a serene, tactile sanctuary at the heart of the fair.
