YOUNG DESIGNERS SECTION

Invited by COLLECTIBLE 2019 in Brussels to design the scenography for the Young Designers section, Sophie Dries conceived a site-specific architectural display for the works of fifteen emerging international designers.

The spatial design relied on a mineral landscape composed entirely of raw, unprocessed construction materials. By assembling standardized elements into clean, sculptural pedestals, Dries created a quiet, structured environment that framed the exhibitors' objects through texture and geometric simplicity.
