KAIA for WALDEN 2020 

INNER GLOW CHANDELIER 

THE CASTLE OF HOLLENEGG, AUSTRIA

Designed by Sophie Dries for KAIA Lighting in collaboration with Walden, the Inner Glow Chandelier combines a geometric brass structure with a hand-blown Murano glass diffuser.

The design relies on the association between a linear metal frame and a fluid glass body containing mineral inclusions. The light source is housed within the glass element, which diffuses an ambient light across its textured surface.

Developed for Walden, this fixture integrates Dries' work on material contrasts and glass techniques. The Inner Glow Chandelier functions as a sculptural light object, joining lighting design with traditional craftsmanship.
